ABEM: The Heart of Healthcare Technology in Malawi

Registered on March 19th, 2023, the Association of Biomedical Engineering in Malawi (ABEM) is the premier professional body dedicated to the advancement of medical technology and engineering excellence in the "Warm Heart of Africa."

We represent a diverse community of engineers, medical physicists, technicians, researchers, and students who bridge the gap between engineering innovation and life-saving medical care. In a healthcare system where technology is rapidly evolving, ABEM serves as the vital link ensuring that medical equipment is safe, effective, and sustainable.

Commettees

ABEM committees play a crucial role in advancing the organization's mission and supporting its programs and services. Aligned with the Society's strategic direction, this work fosters growth in biomedical engineering and ABEM. We refresh committee memberships annually, and we invite you to share your expertise to help elevate the field. Joining a committee not only contributes to your professional development but also paves the way toward leadership opportunities and ABEM Fellowship.
